Poker Tip 6 - How to Win a WSOP Poker Bracelet

Is winning a poker bracelet on your list of things to achieve in your life time? Do you see yourself seated at that final table, holding that winning hand?
The question to keep asking is how to make my dreams become a reality, whether it's the poker bracelet, a holiday, hitting my targets at work or just achieving my day to day goals. Continue to find ways, to learn more, to become more efficient and successful at what you do.
So how do you plan on becoming a better poker player, how do I plan on winning that first poker bracelet?
Well first of all I started my blog and I have learned over the past couple of years that by writing about things you're passionate about increases your ability to learn more about that particular subject. Simply, whilst researching information for the next blog post I am actually learning more about the game. Simply by learning new methods and strategies enables you to improve both you and your poker game.
So whilst writing a post the subconscious is becoming more aware of particular hopes and dreams. The subconscious is training itself to notice different aspects of life that will in turn help improve your game. You will begin to become more aware of your surroundings in society, at work, in relationships but most importantly at the poker tables.
Do you tend to notice once something is brought to your attention it's hard to block it out?
It's like someone suggesting, DON'T think of a big tree. Then, all you can think about is a big tree. This is the power of auto suggestive language (an important topic to consider if you want to improve your poker).
Do you believe, this is how your subconscious thinks? You see, you have the ability to train and tell your subconscious mind what it is you want to achieve. You can make your dreams become a reality. For example, if you tell yourself enough times you feel sick, chances are you will begin to feel sick, because your mind will tell your body that's how you feel.
Similarly, if you tell yourself you always lose with pocket aces; your subconscious will often find ways for you to lose. BUT, I hear you say; surely it's up to the other players and what cards they're dealt and how they play the hand. True. But, somehow your subconscious will lead you to bet too much, limp in, check or make a wrong decision at a vital time. And trust me; if you win a small pot with pocket A's your likely to forget it. However, if you lose, again, your subconscious will definitely remember, simply to reaffirm your suggestion that you always lose with bullets.
So, is dreaming about winning a poker bracelet one day a healthy past time? Well I believe so, telling your subconscious to be alert and on the lookout for ways to improve can only be a positive affirmation. You should always be looking to gain that 'edge'. Work on positive reassurance, focusing on what you want to achieve, not remembering what could have happened, like some bad beats you will face.
How often are you faced with poker players reminiscing of their recent bad beats? They're focusing on the negative. Sure, take note at the time of what happened, learn from it and move on. Concentrate on winning the next time.
Besides, your poker bracelet may not necessarily be located at a final table in Las Vegas, your poker bracelet may simply be that brand new car you've had your heart set on or a promotion at work.
This is where the saying comes from, if you wish for something hard enough it may just come true!
It is time to deal you destiny, and make your dreams come true. Remember, the power is in your hands.
